Milo's paternal uncle and grandparents visited last weekend, and we have a bunch of cute evidence from the visit.
First, because this was their first meeting, Milo and Uncle Dave: Milo is thinking: Hmm. Guess I'll have to grow a beard, too. Wonder why Mommy doesn't have one?
Lewbergbaby blog fans, we have lots of good stuff coming your way. First, Milo 's wedding outfit from Memorial day weekend. There were a lot of good outfits at this wedding - it was a Taiwanese-Indian wedding - and Milo did his best to fit in. Don't miss the hip shoes.
Here's Milo learning about matching pajamas, water treatment facilities, and country music. Dave is no doubt absorbing the finer points of diaper soiling and parent waking.
Notice that Dave has more hair in that little triangle of chest than Milo has on his head.
Super Milo! Milo and I share a love for this particular maneuver. I think it started when he was having painful gas; they tell you that putting pressure on the tummy helps. Now, however, it's more about flying around in a leisurely manner and saving damsels (Mommies) in distress. It's even got a little theme song.
We don't spend a lot of time hanging out with an undressed Milo - we worry that he'll get cold, or poop on us - but it's nice to have some semi-naked time every once in a while so we can see what he looks like under his onesies. It turns out, he looks a bit smaller, pinker, and nipplier.
So, Milo's crafty plan to prevent his parents from getting sleep at night depends heavily on his getting sleep at other times, so he has plenty of energy at 2 AM.
His parents, however, are no slouches at this game, so we try to prevent him from getting too much sleep during the day.
Below is such an attempt. It was a bit on the dorky side. And an utter failure.
