Milo and his hep Daddy

Milo's paternal grandparents came for a visit, and we all stopped by the Silver Spring Jazz Fest to hear Chopteeth. Milo seemed to enjoy it.

Milo WAS eating pesto

Milo's language skills are coming along nicely. He's definitely picked up on the past tense over the last month or two.
Now we need to work on other tenses, like: IF I eat my spaghetti with pesto with my hands, I SHOULD wash myself AFTERWARDS.

First day of school

Here's Milo in his stroller on his way to his first day at his new school:

For reference, here's the picture we took on his first day of his old school, about two years and two months ago:

Here's another one from this morning. Dig the frog lunchbox and the hip shorts:

Oh, poop

Good new: Milo pooping on the potty!
Bad news: It was very easy to get him to poop on the potty, because poop has been streaming out of him in very liquid form for about 5 days.
Bonus: He is now terrified of getting his diaper changed, because his butt is raw. What fun!

Family photo time!

In which we try to get three people to look pleasantly at the camera at the same time.

The fact that Jennifer has her eyes closed and her hand in front of her face in this one may actually be a blessing, as it distracts from Milo's bolus:

While Jen and I are both looking at the camera for this one, Milo has found something off to the side that has captured his attention. Perhaps it is another family, celebrating their fabulous and well posed family pictures:

The missing half of my face would be tolerable, but here we also have Milo making the first in a series of expressions that are ... less than desirable in the context of a nice photo:

This one might have been the one, if only I had aimed the camera a little better:

I look annoyed here. I hope Milo enjoyed whatever he was eating:

I don't even know what to say about this one:

In this picture, Milo is wistfully remembering the days before I started trying to get a nice picture of the three of us:

And so on:

And so forth:

Happy holidays from the Lewis/Greenbergs!
