Milo body part of the week: The hand (the first in a series)

It has been alleged that Milo has large hands. This is the first installment in a series in which we examine the claim by posting photographs of Milo's hand next to other common objects.

Here is a wider view. Milo is in a sling.

Milo meets Emily (and half of Ira)

Well, OK, he met Ira already.

Grape, your lordship?

Every day, it seems Milo requires that he be held in a new position before he will stop fussing. This morning, he's demanded to recline on my lap, with his head resting on my left arm.

I am typing slowly.

Here's yesterday's position:

Milo is feeling a bit sniffly ...

I tried to get a picture of his booger, but I couldn't get it in focus, so I offer this image of him sleeping off his woes instead:

Island Birthmark

Perhaps Milo's destiny is tied up with Puerto Rico's?

Milo body part of the week: The left ear

Milo's ears seem unexceptional except of course for their extreme cuteness and the closeness with which they hew to his skull. They are also sort of fuzzy, which I don't think comes through in this picture.

Milo likes to hear things. Recently he listened attentively to The Far Side of the World, book 10 in the Patrick O'Brian series about the British navy. We have some excellent music lined up for his listening pleasure, including Woody Guthrie, They Might Be Giants, and lullabies adapted from songs by The Rolling Stones. I wonder how he will feel about David Sedaris?
