Today, Milo went to the doctors' for a routine blood test. They also weighed him, and he came in at 8 lbs, 6 oz. This is good; it means he's gaining weight well and feeding properly.
He was 7 lbs, 13 oz. at birth, and was down as low as 7 lbs, 1 oz. on his third day.
His umbilical chord stump also fell off today - the time just flies by.

Did you save the stump?
We did! I wanted to take a picture, then I was going to get rid of it. Should we save it even after the picture?
Well, it really isn't a should or shouldn't situation. I personally think it makes a lovely keepsake taped into the baby book or shifting around the bottom of a box of baby photos and memorabilia. Others might feel differently.
